Returns
Original artwork is not mass-produced stock, so our returns policy is narrower than a general retailer's. Here is exactly what it covers — and what it does not.
The short version
You have 7 days from delivery to raise a return for artwork that arrives damaged, or that differs significantly from its listing. If we accept it, we cover return shipping and refund you in full.
What is covered
- The artwork arrived damaged — a tear, a crease, a cracked frame, water damage.
- The piece differs significantly from its listing — wrong dimensions, wrong medium, wrong frame, or a different work altogether.
- The order never arrived, or arrived incomplete.
What is not covered
We do not accept returns for change of mind. Each piece is an original that has been removed from sale, packed and shipped for one buyer, and we price accordingly rather than building a restocking margin into every sale.
We also cannot accept a return because a colour reads differently on your wall than on your screen. Screens vary, and so does the light in a room. Every listing states its exact dimensions, medium and surface, and the photographs are not retouched — if you want more detail on a piece before ordering, ask us and we will tell you.
How to raise a return
- Photograph it first — the artwork and the packaging it arrived in, before unpacking any further. This is the single most useful thing for a transit-damage claim.
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and those photographs.
- Wait for confirmation before shipping anything back. We will arrange collection or send you a prepaid label. A piece sent back without confirmation may not reach us safely.
Refunds
Once an accepted return reaches us and has been checked, we refund the full amount you paid — artwork and frame — to your original payment method. We will tell you when the refund has been issued.
Commissions and custom work
A commissioned piece is made to your brief, so it cannot be returned for change of mind. We agree the concept, size and palette with you in writing before any work begins, and share progress along the way, precisely so there are no surprises at the end. Damage in transit is covered exactly as it is for any other piece.
